Steven had his surgery yesterday and it went well. The doctor was able to put two of the big bones in his foot back together! Since Denyal is staying at the hospital with him Preston and Whitney are with us. Morgan stayed with her grandma, who will drop her off this morning, but anyway this was a conversation Colby and Whitney had last night…

C: Where is the rest of your pants?
W: In my suitcase.
C: Where are the rest of the ones you have on?
W: Huh? This is it.
C: They’re too short, where is the rest?
W: They’re capris.
C: You want to freeze? Why would you want to do that?
W: Not freeze, capris.
C: I know, but why do you want to freeze?
W: They’re capris. Ca-ca-ca-prees.
C: I heard you, you want to freeze.
W: You’re so stupid.

Shelby is sitting beside Whitney cracking up, I thought she was going to fall off the bench laughing.

Oh, and part of the kids brought home their spring pictures from school yesterday and they turned out GREAT. I mean absolutely fabulous, the photographer must have been a pure genius!!! Shelby’s pictures didn’t get taken at the same time as the younger kids, something to do with mechanical difficulties, but her pictures will be here soon!!!

Last night Colby also signed up for EMT classes this coming fall, woo!!! I’m so excited for him.
