Ok, so I’m only kidding, I wouldn’t actually eat a groundhog, but it’s tempting since the rule in our house is you don’t kill any critter you aren’t going to eat, and I’d sure like to take the life of that cute little rodent known as Punxsutawney Phil, right about now!
I am not a fan of the cold and I nearly fell on the ice checking the mail this morning. I’M READY FOR SPRING!!! Perhaps I shall just spend a few more minutes playing Whack a Groundhog to take out some anger!
And that my friend is why I’m pretending that Phil doesn’t exist and sticking with The General! I’m pretty sure any rodent that predicts more winter here in the south is probably already skinned, stuffed and in the oven with some gravy.
