There is so much going on right now… making my life crazy lol.
Most importantly, my nephew was born Saturday! He’s a bit early, but doing wonderful. He’s eating nearly an ounce at a time and may possibly get to come home Friday!!! Woo hoo!
What else?
The weather is warming up. It’s in the 30s again, which is good and bad at the same time lol. Good because we are finally able to go outside again and we’re not having to use both our electric and wood furnace to keep the house warm. Bad because we’re able to go outside again so the kids drag me off to play every chance they get and the snow melts and freezes back at night making it a slushy, slippery mess!
The kids are back in school and Logan and I are getting back into our routine. It’ll be thrown off again when the kids are all home early Wednesday and off from school on Monday, but next Tuesday I should return to my normal, blogging all the time, self lol.
Shelby, Cassie, and Lucas have all gotten their report cards and their grades are wonderful… all A or A-… YAY! Last time Lucas needed to improve his handwriting and his work habits, but they’re both fine now and he was a December Student of the Month!!! Wyatt’s report card probably got mailed home today because he wasn’t at school. Yesterday he decided to throw a temper tantrum because he missed recess and hit his teacher, so he’s suspended this week. I don’t know what the heck he’s thinking because he was doing so good, but he’s now grounded and enjoying all the time he’s spending helping me clean.
What’s coming up?
Cassie is in the Knowledge Bowl next Thursday and is super excited! I swear it’s all she talked about the whole time they were on winter break. I promised to play with my camera more to try and learn how to get decent pictures in the schools crappy lighting.
Shelby’s District Band concert is next Saturday, and this time it’s close enough that we’ll be able to go! Last year I was heartbroken to have to miss it. She keeps saying it’s no big deal, but of course it’s a big deal lol!
I guess that’s all for now. Tomorrow I’ll run errands (and will get new camera batteries) and my goal for Thursday is to get the “Bucky” the Buckle Toy review and the Chicken Soup: Count Your Blessings and The Monday Morning Church giveaways posted.
