Day one of school – complete! Bring on day 2!!!

Okay, so Tuesday Colby took off work  so we could have one last summer fun day, and we went to the zoo. We had a fantastic time and I think it definitely eased ending the summer. And I have to say that if any of you make it to the St. Louis Zoo, make time for the 3-D Motion Simulator! IT ROCKED! It was a short ride, but it was so worth it.

Then we met their teachers Tuesday night. Well, part of them anyway. We didn’t make it back from the zoo in time to meet Lucas’s teacher, but he was okay with it, and I took him in this morning to meet her and he went off with a smile.

Wyatt was the one who claimed he didn’t want to go back, and yet he was the first ready this morning and waiting for the bus lol. Cassie loves school, so of course she was ready to go, and rode the bus with Wyatt. Then I dropped Shelby off at the high school and took Lucas.

Miraculously, no one cried. Not even Logan! He puckered up when the bus left, but he was fine. A little extra ornery this afternoon, but that could have been from the chocolate chip cookies and candies that mom decided to give him lol.

Now everyone’s papers are filled out, their planners signed, and now, while Big Brother is on commercial, they’re planning out their outfits for tomorrow. Hey, what can I say, they’re as addicted as I am lol.
