I don’t mention nearly enough how wonderful Colby is…

I was sitting here typing up the MomDot’s 31 Bloggers in 31 Days Blog Party post when a strange vehicle pulled into our driveway. I really didn’t think much of it, Bobby isn’t home and I just assumed he was with one of his buddies and stopped to pick something up. Well, they honked and when I walked out onto the porch a lady stuck her head out of the window and asked if I was Christy. Ok, now I was clueless lol. She said she was told not to get out because the dog would bite, but she had a delivery for me. Umm… ok… I started to come back in and put my shoes on, but by then I was way too curious so I just went down the steps in my socks lol. She says there isn’t a card or anything, he said you’d know who they’re from and hands me half a dozen roses!!!

I was speechless and by then the boys were off the porch at my feet so I thanked her and shooed them back inside. I called Colby and he said he’d gotten a bonus check for delivering shingles & drywall so he used it to surprise me. Surprised I was!!! Now I have a beautiful bouquet of roses sitting on my desk, smelling wonderful and a smile that even the world’s poopiest diaper couldn’t take off my face
