We started our school year nightly routine this week. Basically it’s just a way to get the kids wound down and to sleep at a decent hour, and I’ve found that it works better to have a set routine all week long! At 7:00 the tv and internet shuts off (gotta love parental controls) and at 8:00 they get ready for bed. They can read, talk to each other, whatever until lights out at 8:30. Then by 9:00 they’re usually sleeping.
It’s only the second day in and I’m bored out of my mind! I’ve visited my favorite forums, caught up on all my email, and even played a couple hands of solitaire. I’ve got no reviews to be working on, so I pretty much have nothing to do at the computer. I’ve got a couple DVRed shows that I’ll watch later, but only a couple and since I can fast forward through the commercials I’ll be completely out of things to do by 10:00!!!
Colby is at the ambulance shed studying for his NREMT exam and probably won’t be home until around 11:00.
I guess I’m going to have to go buy some more fabric so I can start sewing again, so I don’t go completely insane! Ooooh!!! That reminds me, two of my tutorials were published in a 2010 Sewing Calendar.

If you like to sew, you can order one from Amazon! My clothespin bag tutorial is shown on April 29th and my tea wallet tutorial is shown on September 27th. It’s actually a really neat calendar and has some awesome crafters in it!

Seriously, I’m like annoyingly giddy over it lol. I wish I had more crafty family members because they’d all be getting them for Christmas
Hey, and that reminds me of something odd I’m going to add to my christmas list, a new box cutter or letter opener of some sort. I’m so tired of trying to open boxes with my scissors, which are missing 90% of the time anyway. All my reviews come in boxes and I got a paper-cut (cardboard-cut?) from tearing one of them open this morning. It hurts!!!
I guess I’ve rambled enough, so I’m going to go watch TV now, but if you’ve made it this far tell me something odd that is going on your Christmas list!
