I made BigBrother’s favorite dinner on back-to-school night. And a big, fun breakfast on the morning of back-to-school. He also got a new book and a coloring book when he got home from school.

  2. My son went back to school on August 17th. I tried to make it fun by buying bunches of his favorite snacks and breakfast stuff. This is not making it fun but I think it is real important to tell him every day how smart he is and how proud I am of him.

I took the kids clothes shopping one at a time, and let them pick out their school backpack and reuseable lunch bag, and that made them excited. I took them each out to lunch too, and we talked about school and all the things to look forward to.
