Have you heard of the Pepsi Refresh Project? Well, I hadn’t either, but as soon as I read about it I knew I had to share it with all of you! So, what is it? I’m glad you asked! Through the Pepsi Refresh Project, Pepsi will give away more than $20 MILLION dollars to fund projects to help make communities better. Maybe your local playground has seen better days and is a bit dangerous for kids to be playing on, or maybe your local youth club needs new computers, whatever the project is, Pepsi wants to hear about it!

Each month Pepsi is accepting 1,000 submissions in 6 categories (health, arts & culture, food & shelter, the planet, neighborhood, and education) and at the end of the month they put the top ones on their website so everyone can vote on who should receive a grant ranging from $5,000 to $250,000. Starting today you can get involved by either submitting your idea for an improvement in your community or by voting for your favorite submission at http://www.refresheverything.com/! What are you waiting for? Get on over there and check it out!

Disclosure: I wrote this review while participating in a blog campaign by Mom Central on behalf of Pepsi Refresh. Mom Central sent me a gift card to thank me for taking the time to participate, but honestly I would have shared this with you even if I wasn’t being compensated!
Thanks for sharing this…I saw this on CBS Sunday Morning…because Pepsi didn’t advertise during the superbowl..I think this is a great thing and more big companies should use their advertising money this way.
