How do you know which “online universities” are legit? I came across one specializing in online teaching degrees that claims it is nationally, regionally, and NCATE accredited which seems like it would be on the up-and-up, but in reality anyone can claim anything on a website and it doesn’t make it true.

So I have a few questions that I’m hoping one of you may be able answer…

How do you know that if you acquire an online degree that you’ll actually be able to use it? And not have wasted your money getting it?

What makes one “online university” better than another?

What’s the difference in an “online university” and taking some courses online from a community college?
