We didn’t find any boots today. Wyatt and Lucas were super disappointed! Friday is “cowboy day” at school and they were hoping to go in new boots. The lady at the shoe store said Wyatt’s going to be hard to find a pair for because he’s a “youth” size, between kids and adults. Lucas is in a children’s size, but the ones she had started at a 13, and he needs an 11, maybe a 12.

The store I really wanted to go in was closed today, so I told the boys I’d call tomorrow and see what sizes they had in stock and go from there. Wyatt isn’t really hard to shop for, I now what styles he likes and he’s not picky at all, and his foot is not much smaller than mine, so I can try them on for him. Lucas, on the other hand, I think his will probably have to wait to get his until he can go with me to try them on. They just happened to be out of school today so we could go shopping without being in a hurry, I never dreamed a store would be closed on a Wednesday! I guess that’s how it goes, shopping in a small town…
