Logan plays on the Wii Balance Board at Bonnie’s house and constantly amazes me. There is a game where you’re a penguin trying to catch the fish and you have to lean left and right to move the iceberg and he absolutely rocks at it, and another game where you hit the soccer balls with your head and even though he’s only 3, he was kicking all the bigger kids’ behinds! After watching him play those, there is a new game I’m dying to get…
Kids can jump rope with The Backyardigans, go river rafting with Diego, leap over hurdles with Kai-lan, and pogo stick with Dora in a new, youth fitness product exclusively for the Wii – Nickelodeon Fit. Scheduled for release this fall, Nickelodeon Fit is a new way for kids to stay physically active as they exercise and engage with their favorite characters, all together in a video game for the first time!
Nickelodeon Fit features 30 exercise games targeting cardiovascular activity, core muscles, upper and lower body strength, balance, motor skill development and foot and hand-eye coordination. Using either the Wii Remote™ or the Wii Balance Board™ accessory, kids engage in several physically challenging activities.
I’m certain it would be fun for the entire family (and the perfect excuse for me to have to get us a Balance Board as well lol). And I love that I could sneak in some exercise on these days when it’s just too hot to go outside and play!!!
