It’s not like riding a bike!

For the past several months I haven’t sewn anything from scratch. All I’ve been doing is repairs and alterations, but for a swap I’m working on at Craftster one of my projects is sewn. I started it a few weeks ago and finished it up tonight and it’s been nothing but nightmares all along lol.

First, I couldn’t find the pattern I wanted to use. It’s a pattern I made myself, so it wasn’t like I could just go buy a new one. Then, I finally found it. Then I couldn’t find the right color thread… so I just bought new. Then I didn’t have enough fabric, so I had to piece it together. Then I couldn’t remember how to sew the pattern and bluffed it. Finally, I kept breaking threads because my machines majorly nead oiled and cleaned.

It’s finally done, and it doesn’t look like the original projects made from the pattern, but it looks decent and other people will never know that wasn’t how it was intended. Pictures coming in a few weeks…

How funny! you should see my stuff, what a mess!! I’ve been trying to get to my machines and sew samples of new products but each thing takes me weeks.NO. Months. to finish a simple sample. everything is so not comfy in the garage :( I lost my sewing room.
Can’t wait to see what you’ve done.
