Smashing Magazine has up their August 2010 calendar backgrounds. Here’s the one I chose:

I find that having a calendar right there on my desktop as soon as I turn my computer on helps me keep appointments straight and know what’s coming up, even if it’s not actually written on it.

Like this week I know I have:

• Monday – Work (50% off starts), Auxiliary meeting, Colby’s EMT classes start
• Tuesday – running errands for the Fire Dept. BBQ, donate blood, pick up Dixie’s meds & the kids’ school supplies
• Wednesday – Work, grocery shopping, church
• Thursday – Work, back to school fair
• Friday – Last minute prep for Fire Dept. BBQ
• Saturday – Fire Dept. BBQ & Car Wash
• Sunday – Colby’s birthday

And if Dixie doesn’t stop trying to eat my fingers while I’m typing I can add “buy cage for kitten” in there somewhere lol.
