The kids have been out of school for 1 week, with another (plus a day) to go. Everyone is off schedule… and crabby from lack of sleep… and getting on each other’s nerves.
And I’m ready to take back control of my house! I swear as I’m cleaning one room they’re in the one I just finished making a mess!!! Plus, with the amount of snow, mud, water, and ick in general they’re tracking in I’m not sure my carpets will ever be the same!!!
Worst of all, Shelby is having a “teen day” today and is about to push us all over the edge… She had no pants clean, even though there were 6 pair in her closet. She said Cassie took her favorite rubber band (for her hair), even though it looked just like the ones she had in her hand. She said she’s the only one that ever does her chore, even though the dishes in the dishwasher still needed put away. *SIGH*
When she’s in one of her moods and griping at the other kids they’re especially cranky and it’s horrible here!!! Is winter vacation over yet?!
I’ve banned them from the Wii until they can all GET ALONG!!! Which is apparently something I should have done earlier because they’ve been quiet for the last 15 minutes with them all doing their own thing…
- Logan is playing with his new firetrucks and ambulance.
- Lucas is watching Animal Junction in the livingroom.
- Cassie is playing on the computer.
- Wyatt is watching Ben 1o in my room.
- Shelby is in her room painting her fingernails.
