I finally decided that my blog needed a .com of it’s own, so today after going back and forth on about a dozen names I decided on Is It Naptime Yet? www.isitnaptimeyet.com For the last 13 + years that is a question I’ve asked almost every day lol.

When my oldest 3 were babies/toddlers I couldn’t wait for the them to take a nap so I could have a few minutes of quiet time to read or shower or watch TV that didn’t consist of Bananas in Pajamas or Sesame Street. Then when they were preschoolers I couldn’t wait for the them to take a nap so there was a few minutes of them not arguing with each other. Then came Lucas and the older kids no longer took naps, but I couldn’t wait for his naptime to sew and relax. Now, come August, he’ll be in school too, and do you know what I’m most looking forward to at Logan’s naptime? Taking a nap myself!!!

Basically, naptime has always been my “me time” to do what I want, without feeling guilty about not doing what the kids want, so it just seemed like the perfect name for my blog. And while you can now get here by going to www.isitnaptimeyet.com, the old url http://blog.christyscreations.com will still work as well, the only thing that has really changed is the name. You’ll still find reviews and giveaways here, you’ll still find updates on what the kids are doing, you’ll still find crafty tutorials, and you’ll still find me doing a whole lot of rambling lol.
