Honey Kix Review & Giveaway

I got a package from MyBlogSpark to help spread the word about Honey Kix, and it’s so funny because while I was trying to get a picture to post here, Logan wouldn’t stop eating the cereal!

I would take him off the table and by the time I’d grab the camera and turn back around, he was right back up there eating it again lol. I think he has a new favorite cereal, and possibly even a new favorite snack item.

I, on the other hand, am just not a cereal fan. Once in a while I’ll eat a plain bowl of corn flakes, and occasionally some fruit loops, but that is about it, so it wasn’t a big shock that I didn’t really like the Honey Kix. I mean, it’s food, everyone likes different foods. And when I asked my other kids what they thought they said “it is awesome”.

About Honey Kix:

Honey Kix cereal has all the goodness of Kix® cereal but now with a touch of honey! Honey Kix is a good source of fiber, calcium and vitamin D, contains 16 grams of whole grain per serving (at least 48 grams recommended daily) and has no artificial flavors or preservatives. A perfect balance of taste and nutrition through simple ingredients, which both moms and kids can agree on!

Want to win a Honey Kix Prize Pack?

I have a Honey Kix prize pack to give away! It includes a coupon for a free box of cereal, a honey jar, a cereal bowls, a container to take your cereal and milk on-the-go, and a great container to keep cereal fresh at home. The “cereal and milk on-the-go” container is such a neat thing! My kids can’t wait for school to start so they can take cereal and milk for snack! Okay, so on to the giveaway…

I have not been blessed with the “sleep gene” therefore, when I arise in the AM I am sleep deprived and groggy. I am not a coffee/caffeine person, but a cookie or a handful of raisins gets my brain unfuzzed and I feel a little more human. I DO like cereal. Honey sweetened cereal is so much better tasting than plain sugar coated – in my opinion that is.

2. Denise - July 20, 2009

I get up one or two hours before the kids to get a head start on them and have some peace!

3. Alice - July 20, 2009

I always got up early to get my cup of coffee and wake up.

5. Carol - July 20, 2009

I do a LOT the night before! I tidy up the whole house, make sure lunches are packed, books are ready, clotehs are laid out, etc. I do like cooking breakfast at times, so it’s nice if I have the time to do it, and not be cleaning and chasing lunch money.
