Shelby is 13 years old today.

I’m so very proud of who she has become! She’s beautiful and intelligent and most of the time is a truly kind and caring person. I say most of the time because she’s got to the point where she knows everything and anyone that tries to tell her anything different has got to be the dumbest, most inconsiderate person alive lol.

She’s accomplished so much this school year! She’s been 1st chair in band most of the school year, and last month she went off to compete in District Band. I think she placed 6th out of 18, but I’ll have to ask her to make sure that is right. Just this week she placed 3rd in the 7th grade science fair for her Balloon Blow-Up project…

She’s also been on the Principal’s Honor Roll all 3 quarters so far!

But, I just don’t know where the time went. It seems like not very long ago I had a tiny little baby and now she’s been replaced this young lady!!! It’s all new territory, I hope we can survive the teen years…
