On the 16th I get to renew my cell phone plan and get a new phone. I’m beyond excited because mine has had issue after issue since the day I got it. The speaker started crackling the first week I had it so I’d planned on exchanging for a different one, since AT&T gives us 30 days to decide if we like a phone or not, then Wyatt dropped it in a pan of cooking grease and I couldn’t.

Surprisingly enough it continued to work after a good cleaning, but after a few months the speaker completely went out and them the keys started sticking and eventually stopped working. I got it stuck on speaker phone and could still slide it open to answer and closed to hang up, so I kept using it. Then one night it shut off and since the keys didn’t work I couldn’t turn it back on.

I gave in and started using my OLD (read polyphonic ring tones old) cell phone, but it made a trip through the washing machine a couple weeks ago, which messed up the speaker in it. Now I’m using the kids’ cell phone that really isn’t much better… and they want it back!

I can’t wait for the upgrade and have it narrowed down to a few phones…

Depending on which location I renew at, I can get any of them free, so that isn’t a factor in my decision. And while I really want a QWERTY keyboard, the LG Invision has Mobile TV, which could be fantastic to entertain Logan when we’re out and about. I like having expandable memory, but I can live with limited memory, if I must. What really needs to be the deciding factor is durability, and that isn’t something I can tell about by reading features and the reviews on the AT&T website aren’t very helpful.

Does anyone have any of these phones? What do you think of them?
