When I came across the Buttercup Bag tutorial I knew I had to try it! I instantly printed out the pattern and instructions and within hours I had cut my fabric. This morning I made time to complete it and it came out so cute…

The directions were easy to understand and it only used a fat quarter of fabric! Plus, I love how quick the project came together! I think before school is out for the year I’ll take my girls to the fabric store with me and together we can make Buttercup Bags for a couple of their best friends.

  1. This is so cute! I still need to invest in a sewing machine. You should sell those!

Thank you. My favorite machine is a Necchi Lelia I got at a yard sale for $20. I brought her home, cleaned her up, and she works like a dream. I need to sand and refinish her cabinet, but that doesn’t affect useage.

The tutorial I used specifically says, “this pattern is for personal use only” so no selling them :)
