I couldn’t make a decent pie to save my lift, but this Apple Crisp recipe is so easy to follow and it comes out perfect every time:

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 6 large apples, peeled and sliced
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 6 Tablespoons butter

Combine 1/2 cup sugar, lemon juice, water and cinnamon in bottom of small baking pan. Add sliced apples. Blend remaining 1/2 c. sugar, flour, salt and butter until crumbly. Spread over apples and pat smooth.

Bake at 375* for 40-50 minutes, until apples are tender and crust is browned.

    This looks really easy and healthy…i think i can make it into snacks but maybe need to reduce the sugar a bit…
