I got the mirror and dry erase boards put on the girls’ walls, now I only HAVE to do the touch up painting and I can call it done! I couldn’t find a mirror with a silver frame to match so I ended up buying what I could find (a gold frame) so I pulled the frame off it and framed it with some of the left over trim boards from the walls. It looks cute, but it just wasn’t what I was hoping for. I’ve been doing some more accessorizing too, like the matching trashcan and throw pillows, but that a necessity. I also need to find a couple shelves to put up on the wall, but they’re proving to be pretty difficult. I don’t understand why it’s so hard to find silver, or even chrome accessories to put in a bedroom, everything seems to be geared toward the kitchen or bathroom.

I may have to buy wooden shelves and then paint them to match the walls. If I have to do that I’ll probably paint them the opposite wall color so they stand out (purple wall, cream shelves or vice versa).

Before Colby took down the ceiling fan and put up the new light fixture, Shelby thought Cassie’s favorite pink bunny needed to go for a ride. Cassie wasn’t amused and stood back with her arms crossed saying “You’re really not funny Shelby!”! Ahh, sisterly love lol.
